Tellschow Gets Her First Top Three Sunfish Finish

Susanna Tellschow just began sailing a Sunfish several weeks ago - and now has a top three finish to her credit. She came in third in the first race Wednesday and went 3-5-5 for the evening. Due to light winds, only three races were sailed.

John Fishbeck claimed first in the initial race of the evening and followed up with two second place finishes. Dave Vietti was first in the second race - adding to a second in race one and a third in race two for a solid performance. Dennis Dudley had a first place finish in race three to go with a fourth and a third. Alanna Harvey was unable to make the first race, but then sailed to fourth place finishes in the other two races.

Bob Miller Shows New Speed in His Laser

Bob Checks To See if He Can Cross

Bob Miller had his best evening of Laser racing Wednesday, coming in with second, third and fourth place finishes. To get the second, he came from several boat lengths behind on the last leg.

Mike Moody was the big winner of the evening with three first place finishes. Also showing his sailing prowess was Blaine Severin who went 3-4-3 for the three races sailed. Olav Messerschmidt was just leaving the launch area at the start of race one - but still caught several boats and went on to a second in race two. Pat Dolan claimed second in the final race to account for the top three finishers among nine laser sailers in the three races.
