Advertising Your Regatta
US SAILING has an incredible on-line calendar that is user-friendly and a great way to market your Class and your regatta. For Free! This powerful database can be sorted by date, class, area, age, etc., by anyone with access to a computer. Fleet captains, district representatives and race organizers should input their regattas complete with name, date, website link and contact information. Put in as little or as much information as you please. GO TO: www.ussailing.org/calendar to input your first regatta!
Engraving Work
There are several places in the Lansing area that will do engraving work for trophies - and often provide the trophies themselves. If you are trying to match some previous engraving or trophies, remember to take along one of your previous strips or the trophy you want to match.

Advertising Regattas
Be sure to post information about your regatta with US Sailing and the class association. Also, work with the LSC Media Relations Director (see the "Contact Us" page) to get information in the hands of local media so they can help publicize the event. To list with US Sailing go to www.ussailing.org/ and click on "Calendar" at the top of the page - then click on "Add Regatta or Event".
US Sailing will ask for a "Event URL". For 2004, this is what fleets should enter:

Notices on the LSC Site
The LSC Webmaster will create both information and results pages for any regatta. Use the "Contact Us" page to let the Webmaster know you want to do this. Fleets can create their own web page - or simply prepare the information necessary for the Webmaster to create the page.
